Bo’s Time Flies Airplane Cake Smash, Scott Depot WV

 Airplane Cake Smash

I loved meeting this sweet family! As soon as Donette told me the theme for the shoot I was so excited! An airplane themed cake smash! YES! BO was in the NICU and the first outfit the nurses put him was a Captain Adorable shirt and she wanted to incorporate it into the shoot! I just thought that was such a sweet idea and seeing him hold that tiny little onesie, how could he have ever been so tiny? BO couldn’t have been cuter in his aviator hat and he was all about the cake! I loved getting the pictures of Bo and his cake smash, but I have to admit some of my favorites were of his older brother sneaking some cake! BO is lucky to have a best friend to grow up with and he kept me cracking up throughout the session!

Valentines Day Cupcake Mini Sessions at Sugar Pie Bakery Charleston WV

I was so excited to team up with Sugar Pie Bakery in Charleston WV, to to offer Valentines Day  Cupcake Mini Sessions! I knew I wanted to do cupcake themed mini sessions for Valentine’s Day because it would be super adorable and I love me some cupcakes! It was important to me that I use the most delicious cupcakes around so I was so excited that Sugar Pie Bakery was on board with the idea of doing the cupcake sessions in their shop! This has been the SWEETEST set up for mini sessions that I have done to date! The cupcakes were sooooo DELICIOUS!!!! Thank you so much Sugar Pie Bakery for making us special Valentines cupcakes that were beyond delicious and for having us! I also want to send a big thanks to everyone who came out to get their cupcake on! The cuteness was above and beyond what I could have imagined! These sessions were so much fun!   I am also proud of myself for using a little bit of self control around all of these cupcakes. This would not have happened on Mudslide day! That gooey chocolate is irresistible team Mudslide all the way! This was my first time teaming up with a local business for mini sessions and I am so thankful it was with the awesome folks at Sugar Pie Bakery. They really are a sweet business even beyond their delicious treats. They do so much for the community and for so many charities! It warms my heart to know that they donate cupcakes daily to organizations like Hospice and Trinity’s Table! If your looking for something sweet for valentines day from a business that has a lot of heart you should stop by and check them out!  Or if your like me sometimes you just gotta “Treat Yo Self”! Prepare for an overload of cuteness!

That look when you run out of cupcake!

Cake Smash With Best Bud Fayetteville, WV

I wish I could do a cake smash everyday! This may be the sweetest one yet, my sweet baby Willow just turned one! Becoming a mother has been my greatest adventure! I could not have imagined loving someone so much, she is our world! Every day with Willow is a new adventure! I love watching her discover mind blowing new things everyday! I  love capturing sweet little moments that I cherish with her. This amazing year has flown by too fast.  We enjoyed her birthday by spending the day hiking in the woods and sharing a little cake.  This is the main reason I love capturing life’s sweetest moments!

Maxon’s First Year Photos and Cake Smash

I was relieved to get a break from the rain and to get to spend some time with the Beckett family! I had a blast doing Maxon’s First Year Photos and Cake Smash! Max is every photographer’s dream, ADORABLE baby who loves chocolate cake! I knew this shoot was going to be all smiles from the start. Max’s sister Maddie walked up to me and said “You can’t see my underwear in these shorts. BAaaahaaaa. I told her that was always a plus! Me and Max are on the same level when it comes to chocolate cake. Max doesn’t play games. He went hard and dominated that cake! Sadly, I look very similar when I finish a cake, but not so adorable! He was such a joy to shoot! The whole family was involved and that made it even more fun! Annie had the cutest outfits and props for Max! I loved that the chair had been passed down for generations and the bibs with the tool belt were hand made! Chris created a sweet chalkboard scene with Max’s name on it, too bad Max was more interested in a mud puddle close by. I learned quickly that Max is a champion turbo speed crawler! I had no idea babies could scoot so fast! Maddie was such a good big sis helping out, she kept blowing Max bubbles the whole time.   I love a good cake smash! Thanks for allowing me to capture these sweet memories!
