Farm Photo Session With Baby Goats, New River Gorge WV

My husband and I have always dreamt of having a small farm and homestead! Neither of us grew up on a farm and we are  both pretty clueless about farming, but it was a calling our hearts had. We started out with a couple chickens, the gateway farm animal. Then it was a friend that had pigs that were looking for a forever home, then it was what’s a couple of goats and so on. We envisioned our little family living off the grid and growing our own food, making fresh cheeses and living the farm life. Our farm probably isn’t the picturesque farm you have in your head when you think of a farm, but to us its perfect and we  are where we want to be. Our patchwork fence shows the constant battle to keep our goats in each mending telling a story.   There is a crooked chicken coop that is made with love.  I have learned a lot about farming on our adventures so far. Sometimes when we think we don’t have what it takes to be farmers we get to witness magical moments that remind us why we love it so much! Seeing our sweet Does give birth and witnessing new life upclose is incredible! I am so thankful to be raising our little one on the farm!   We are really lucky to have the support system we do with local farmers helping us on our adventures into farming! We have awesome goat mentors that have held our hands along the way and answered our crazy questions at all hours. Shout out to Shelley and Don Hutcheson at Twiggity farm for being there for us! Watching Willow see the baby goats for the first time was magical! These are  the kind of sweet moments I love capturing!

Senior Representative Jeri Landers

I am excited to announce that Jeri Landers is a senior representative for Tabitha Stover Photography for the 2016 graduating class! The main requirement for being a senior rep was having true inner beauty! Jeri was a perfect fit to be a senior rep because of her positive attitude and huge heart!  She volunteers to help get animals adopted at the Fayette Co. Animal Shelter!  Jeri is the daughter of Tina and Jerry Landers and I love that they have raised her to be so well rounded and level headed! It is awesome and rare to find a girl who loves hunting and fishing and rocks at pageants! Speaking of pageants, she is the raining “Veteran’s Reunion Queen”!  She is a true West Virginia girl and loves the outdoors and beauty of our state! When she isn’t hiking around, she enjoys spending time with family and friends! She will graduate from Fayette County High School and wants to study nursing!

Braelynn’s Fairy Photo Shoot

I am so happy to have awesome support from friends and family in pursuing my photography dreams! I was super pumped when my friend Megan got ahold of me to do Braelynn’s  fairy photo shoot with her adorable daughter ! All to often we overlook the magic that goes on all around us! You can see it in every child’s eyes!  Little ones grow too fast and capturing magical moments like this  is what I love! We took to the park to chase fairies! Not only did Braelynn put up with the heat, but she kept us laughing the whole time! I feel like she is growing too fast, so I am thankful I got to capture these sweet magical moments!

Nature Photo Session With Ally Nutter Senior Photography

I was so excited when I reached out to find a model for a fun nature shoot and Alesha volunteered her beautiful daughter Ally! I had a blast doing this shoot!  They took me to an awesome secret spot that does not look like a place you would find in Charleston.  Ally just graduated from South Charleston and is going to school at Fairmont in the fall! I really want to get into senior photography and this was a great way to learn! Not only is Ally Gorgeous, but she was so laid back and down to try anything! I had to sneak in one mother and daughter photo because they are such a pretty family!  We also had a pretty awesome photo bomb! haaaaaa
