New River Gorge Wedding/ Daniel Vineyards, WV/ Karrah & Brian/ Tabitha Stover Photography

“No Church, No aisles, no chairs…, just two crazy people on the rim of the Gorge” their wedding ceremony was simple and beautiful! Honoring their love infront of close family and friends at the edge of the gorge.
The New River Gorge is full of so many breath taking beautiful places making it the perfect setting for this outdoorsy adventuresome  couple’s wedding! Karrah and Brian’s love story started in the Gorge! Out of all the beautiful places to meet and fall for each other as fate would have it they first met in Charlie’s pub. Its well known for its romantic atmoshere, ha. Karrah had finished up a day of zipplinging and Brian had finished up a day on kayaking and both were gathering with friends at Charlies. Wrong numbers were exchanged, and Brian still says it was the best mistake he has ever made because it led him to her. They really fell for each other with their shared love of the outdoors and adventure!  I have known Karrah and Brain for a while and they are two of the sweetest people I know. When you see them together you know they were made for each other.  The ceremony took place in the New River Gorge Preserve on the rim of the New River where the couple was surrounded by close family and friends followed by a reception at Daniel vineyards where the couple was greeted by more loved ones who celebrated their love into the  evening! The day was perfect even with a few bumps like no power at the reception venue. Their  love shined on and the candles just added to the romantic atmosphere in a beautiful setting with a gorgeous couple! Thank you for letting me capture your big day along with Kaylyn Cole! Wishing you  all a life full of happiness together, I can’t wait to see what adventures await for you to in the future!

Farm Photo Session With Baby Goats, New River Gorge WV

My husband and I have always dreamt of having a small farm and homestead! Neither of us grew up on a farm and we are  both pretty clueless about farming, but it was a calling our hearts had. We started out with a couple chickens, the gateway farm animal. Then it was a friend that had pigs that were looking for a forever home, then it was what’s a couple of goats and so on. We envisioned our little family living off the grid and growing our own food, making fresh cheeses and living the farm life. Our farm probably isn’t the picturesque farm you have in your head when you think of a farm, but to us its perfect and we  are where we want to be. Our patchwork fence shows the constant battle to keep our goats in each mending telling a story.   There is a crooked chicken coop that is made with love.  I have learned a lot about farming on our adventures so far. Sometimes when we think we don’t have what it takes to be farmers we get to witness magical moments that remind us why we love it so much! Seeing our sweet Does give birth and witnessing new life upclose is incredible! I am so thankful to be raising our little one on the farm!   We are really lucky to have the support system we do with local farmers helping us on our adventures into farming! We have awesome goat mentors that have held our hands along the way and answered our crazy questions at all hours. Shout out to Shelley and Don Hutcheson at Twiggity farm for being there for us! Watching Willow see the baby goats for the first time was magical! These are  the kind of sweet moments I love capturing!

Valentine’s Day Winter Engagement Session New River Gorge

It’s awesome when you can call up your friends and they are down to go on a little snowy adventure to do  a super fun Valentine’s Day Winter Engagement Session in the New River Gorge! I am so grateful that they were down  to put up with below freezing temps! I am so excited that Karrah and Brian will be tying the knot! They are an awesome fun couple and you can really see how much they love each other! Also we should take a minute to point out they are a gorgeous couple and Karrah is a snow princess! Although they are both gorgeous I have to admit  the true star of the shoot was  Molly  the model pooch, and she knew it! I love photo sessions with fur babies!  This has been the most adventures engagement session that I have done to date, but that is totally fitting for this couple! We started the session with  a beautiful hike out Fern Creek Trail and then hit the road after some near by gunfire. Then we  headed to play around some frozen waterfalls and huge icicles.  Crazy fact about this adventurous  couple, Brian has kayaked over these waterfalls and Karrah has worked as a zipline guide flying high above this creek! I also learned that standing under giant icicles is super sketch as one came crashing down when we walked away!  This is the kind  of shoot I love , where I can just tag along on a fun adventure and capture moments as they unfold! I love that their love is real and you can see it in their eyes when they look at each other! Thanks  for letting me tag along! I am excited to see all  your future adventures together!

Senior Representative Jeri Landers

I am excited to announce that Jeri Landers is a senior representative for Tabitha Stover Photography for the 2016 graduating class! The main requirement for being a senior rep was having true inner beauty! Jeri was a perfect fit to be a senior rep because of her positive attitude and huge heart!  She volunteers to help get animals adopted at the Fayette Co. Animal Shelter!  Jeri is the daughter of Tina and Jerry Landers and I love that they have raised her to be so well rounded and level headed! It is awesome and rare to find a girl who loves hunting and fishing and rocks at pageants! Speaking of pageants, she is the raining “Veteran’s Reunion Queen”!  She is a true West Virginia girl and loves the outdoors and beauty of our state! When she isn’t hiking around, she enjoys spending time with family and friends! She will graduate from Fayette County High School and wants to study nursing!

Enchanted Forest Fairy Photo Session

DSC_0159-2

I love nature and I love capturing magical moments with the love of my life, my sweet baby WIllow!  I have been wanting to do an enchanted forest  fairy photo session since she was born! She has cute little pointed fairy ears, so she was made for this! I had a blast following her around on her adventures playing/ eating the flowers! I love doing enchanted forest and fairy themed photo sessions and look forward to doing many more!
