Maylon House Wedding/ Milton, WV/ Tabitha Stover Photography

“ It doesn’t matter where I am; I am yours” That sums up this sweet couple. Noemi and Nate went to high school together. Noemi was a foreign exchange student and they became high school sweet hearts! Their love continued to grow when Noemi came back to the U.S to study at Marshall University. Both are pre med students at Marshall. I am amazed that they planned such a beautiful wedding with everything on their plates, but that just shows their determination and love! It was beautiful seeing two different families from different cultures’ come together and celebrate this love. I loved the little details that brought their cultures together like the cupcakes with flags. The Maylon House was the perfect setting for this intimate wedding with this gorgeous couple! Everything was beautiful! I loved the personalized bells that every guest received. Everytime the bells were ringed the couple had to kiss! I can’t get over how stunning Noemi was and that dress and veil!

New River Gorge Wedding/ Daniel Vineyards, WV/ Karrah & Brian/ Tabitha Stover Photography

“No Church, No aisles, no chairs…, just two crazy people on the rim of the Gorge” their wedding ceremony was simple and beautiful! Honoring their love infront of close family and friends at the edge of the gorge.
The New River Gorge is full of so many breath taking beautiful places making it the perfect setting for this outdoorsy adventuresome  couple’s wedding! Karrah and Brian’s love story started in the Gorge! Out of all the beautiful places to meet and fall for each other as fate would have it they first met in Charlie’s pub. Its well known for its romantic atmoshere, ha. Karrah had finished up a day of zipplinging and Brian had finished up a day on kayaking and both were gathering with friends at Charlies. Wrong numbers were exchanged, and Brian still says it was the best mistake he has ever made because it led him to her. They really fell for each other with their shared love of the outdoors and adventure!  I have known Karrah and Brain for a while and they are two of the sweetest people I know. When you see them together you know they were made for each other.  The ceremony took place in the New River Gorge Preserve on the rim of the New River where the couple was surrounded by close family and friends followed by a reception at Daniel vineyards where the couple was greeted by more loved ones who celebrated their love into the  evening! The day was perfect even with a few bumps like no power at the reception venue. Their  love shined on and the candles just added to the romantic atmosphere in a beautiful setting with a gorgeous couple! Thank you for letting me capture your big day along with Kaylyn Cole! Wishing you  all a life full of happiness together, I can’t wait to see what adventures await for you to in the future!

WV State Capital Wedding/ Mikaela & Jordan/ Tabitha Stover Photography

I loved this couple as soon as we met at their engagement session last fall at Concord University. Mikaela and Jordan were so warm, and so sweet, I loved working with them!  Jordan supportively backs up Mikaela confidently and you can see the spark in Mikaela’s eyes as soon as Jordan is mentioned. They are adorable!  They are the kind of couple that are stronger together and they lift up others as a team.  I look forward to what the future holds for this couple. A Memorial weekend red, white, and blue affair at the West Virginia  State Capital was the perfect setting for their big day!

When Mikaela  first told me she had a bridal party of 20 people I have to admit I was a little nervous because I had never photographed a bridal party so big before. Some people are lucky to count on a couple of great friends, but I was truly blown away at the love surrounding Mikaela and Jordan! Every person that surrounded them on this beautiful day needed to be there, the way that each member of the  bridal party spoke of them speaks to how awesome of a couple they truly are! So much love. There were signs of their sorority and fraternity backgrounds throughout the day, but it was most noticeably seen in the strong bond of sisterhood and brotherhood I witnessed throughout the day! There were a few moments of tears, but mostly joy and  lots of laughter. I had a blast working with such a fun group of people that had me smiling all day! Mikaela never let the early hiccups of the day  phase her, she was  just happy to  be marrying the  man of her  dreams! Everything fell into place for the perfect wedding down to the fairytale ending with an amazing sparkler exit ending  with a kiss between best friends!

Wishing you a happily ever after and excited to see what the future holds for you both! Thank you for letting me capture such a beautiful day!

Reunited Retreat Little WV Workshop Charleston WV

One of my goals going into the New Year is to continue to learn and grow with photography! I want to educated myself on the business side of things and really focus on ways to enhance the overall experiences that my clients have!  To do this I jumped at the incredible opportunity to attend The Reunited Retreat  with the Little WV Workshop hosted by Ashton Kelley Photography.

I had been looking forward to this retreat for so long, but I was starting to think it was not going to happen with storm Jonas scheduled to arrive at the same time. I truly feel blessed by Ashton and the mentors who worked so hard to make this event happen and to have such a supportive family that insured that I could attend.

We live on a homestead so making arrangements to go out of town was proving to be a little more difficult with the storm approaching. We had just lost power and with the cold temps this caused our pipes to freeze. I went out and braved all the milk and bread sandwich eating crazies in search of water and luckily got my hands on some of the last jugs at the Piggly Wiggly. We stalk piled up supplies and continually melted snow on the woodstove to be prepared for the animals. It’s also kidding season and I had estimated that all of the kids would arrive at least two weeks before the retreat. I was wrong. Luckily my sweet mom came to the rescue and volunteered to watch the farm and animals while we were gone. She seriously showed up with a full sterile suit and was ready to become a goat midwife. I am pretty sure she was terrified at the possibility of delivering goat babies, but she played it off like she delivered goat babies all the time and assured me that all would be well and that I had to go to the retreat. She’s the best!

We hit the road early and got infront of the storm. As we arrived at the hotel I was immediately greeted by Ashton with open arms, then I explained to her how I hadn’t showered in a while so she might want to reconsider the hug haaa. Bless her heart for running around like a crazy mamma bear making sure everyone arrived safely.

The retreat kicked off in the evening with a fun Pj party and introductions!  The conference room sparkled as we walked in. The room was lined with delicious sweets and beautiful treats! Not to mention beautiful flowers! I love me some Peonies and stuffing my face on sweets! There were even adorable tepees full of pillow nests to set the scene for the partBlack and Gold Treat Tabley.

We got to hear from Andrea Martin, Britni Edwards, Amy Miller, Kelly Broyles, Autumn Branscome, Callie Lindsey, Angie Tracey, Sarah Dunlap, Alicia Wiley, and Ashton Kelley! What an incredible opportunity to attend! I learned so much that I can’t wait to incorporate into my business and life, it was truly inspirational!
